Combining an alternative-influenced style with a knack for writing emotionally vulnerable lyrics, Belmont University alum Anthony Amorim has cemented himself as a prominent up-and-coming singer/songwriter in the Nashville scene. Taking steps from the pop, alternative, and singer/songwriter genres, Anthony has proven that he can tackle any genre as a songwriter while maintaining a relatable and conversational writing style that is completely his own.
Originally from New Jersey, Anthony Amorim has been building a fanbase on several social media outlets since he was a teenager, and has generated over 70 million streams on Spotify, with an active listenership of over 100,000 users monthly. His independently released debut album 2004, released in 2016, has since generated over 30 million streams after the success of the viral title track on Tik Tok, being used in over 50,000 individual user-created videos. While placements on editorial playlists have helped the growth of his audience, a majority of his active listeners have been achieved organically, with 70%+ of his active listeners streaming his music from their own playlists and library.
Coming from an acting background, making appearances on TV shows like Law and Order: SVU, The Good Wife, Saturday Night Live, and ABC’s What Would You Do?, Anthony Amorim’s happy-go-lucky demeanor and sensitivity are reflected in his songwriting. Anthony has continued to write and release music fully independently, with his most recent projects, Sad Forever (Deluxe) and Nostalgic generating 25 million streams.
